Defra are the government department responsible for the environment. Their website details the 2006 UK Climate Change Programme which is the government’s key strategy for tackling climate change.

Energy Saving Trust. This website is very informative and has a wealth of detail on practical renewable energy sources, together with details of available grants for renewable energy. |

UK Boiler Database. Find out about the efficiency of your boiler. The database run by Defra is updated monthly and was started in 1999.
