DEA Lincolnshire are Domestic, Commercial, DEC and New Build Energy Assessors and Energy Consultants, based in Lincoln covering Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and the East Midlands. Home Information Packs (HIPs) introduced in 2007 have now been scrapped, however anyone selling property in the UK will still require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) which is a measurement of how energy efficient the property is. It will also detail how much Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is produced creating that energy, in the form of an Environmental Impact Rating From the 1st October 2008 Energy Performance Certificates are required by all Landlords letting domestic rented property. All commercial property when sold or let after the 1st October 2008 require a Commercial Energy Performance Certificate (NDEPC). Public Buildings larger than 1000m² visited by the general public require a Display Energy Certificate (DEC) to be displayed at the building entrance. The aim of this site is to give basic information about Energy Performance Certificates and to enable property professionals and property owners to request an Energy Assessment. |
