DEA Lincolnshire are Domestic Energy Assessors based in Lincoln covering Lincolnshire and the surrounding area.

Home Information Packs (HIPs) introduced in August 2007 are required by anyone selling a four bedroom property or larger. In December 2007 the Government extended this requirement to cover the sale of all domestic property in the UK.

Part of the HIP is an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) which is a measurement of how energy efficient the property is.

It will also detail how much Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is produced creating that energy, in the form of an Environmental Impact Rating

Over the coming year an Energy Performance Certificate requirement will be expanded to cover all domestic rented property.
